Salesperson
Mertik Maxitrol is a member of an international group of companies that designs and manufactures gas safety controls, gas pressure regulators, gas combination controls and electronic modulation systems for use in gas heating and process applications. Mertik Maxitrol sells in more than 50 countries worldwide. Due to our growing business, we have an excellent career opportunity in our Sales Department.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop existing customer accounts and acquire new business.
- Manage and maintain regular customer contact with accounts in your sales territory and export markets.
- Monitor and report on market conditions, product development, and competitor business activities.
- Identify, prioritize, and nurture new relationships with prospective Corporate Target Markets and accounts.
Qualifications
- College degree, or equivalent experience with a vocational degree.
- Sales experience and an interest in technical products preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving and time management skills.
- English skills a plus (English classes provided), additional language skills helpful, e.g. Spanish or French.
- Based out of headquarters in Thale; travel required (domestic, some international).
- Must have computer skills in MS Office, preferable SAP/R3 experience.
